Our PreThanksgiving

This past weekend we were able to go up to WI to have a Thanksgiving with my Aunt Annie, Paula, Carrie in before he left. It turned out very nicely. Though we ate on paper plates (they were pretty though) we had china tea cups for our after dinner coffee. We were very grateful to be able to see Aunt Annie again. God is good!

After dinner the kids went over to my Uncle Mark's house and they all watched the kids so we could have some adult time. Thank you guys so much!!! We made more noise playing a traditional game of Spoons than if the kids would have stayed :) Ahh....yes, and guess who was the big winner...ME. Ohhh and guess who the big loser was...Paula!!!! So sorry :) Dana and I were in matching sweaters. Phew good thing she got my memo. Carrie is the one in purple, Paula with the spoon on her nose, and then on my right is Brenda. She is a good friend of my aunt who was in for a visit. She fit right in.

Princess Aunt Annie. Hannah wanted to make a get well package for Aunt Annie. So I let her go shopping at the dollar store. She had so much fun picking out things that would make Aunt Annie feel better :0) We thought we were going to mail it, but then decided just to bring it with us when we came. So, she got a tiara. What girl doesn't feel better when she is acknowledged as royalty. Other gives included gaudy silk flowers, fuzzy socks, stickers, a purple snake (Emily picked that one out), and candy!

Ha! Emily giving kisses to Aunt Annie. We have to work on the no licking social rule :)

I'm so glad you had a great time and that you guys were well enough to let your aunt be around the kids. Precious times!
