Wednesday and Thursday morning in WI

Yahoo! I finally got to go out with my BFF Jen! I had such a good time. The kids loved playing in McDonald's playland. Jen and I got to talk for three hours!!!! It was awesome. The kids were so tired. It was great. My kids came back to my parents house and slept for two straight hours. Blissfully quiet. Then Jen and I left the kiddos and went to the JcPenny sale. I got 24 items for just under $60!!! Yahoo. Too cool. Then she took me out to dessert at the Cheesecake Factory and we got to have strawberry cheesecake and coffee and actually talk talk!!! Thank you Jen. I can't tell you how much this time meant to me. I love you so much and desperately wish you lived by me.

PTL! Nanny doesn't have to work the next two days. I got to sleep in this morning as she watched the kids....7:30 I got up. And that is sleeping in :( Ugh, I need to learn to go to bed earlier!!!
We will have to work on the pinky form :)

Monday in WI

Today we got to play more in the snow. I absolutely love this picture of Hannah. My fav part is the snowflake on her eyelash!

The girls just loved getting outside and getting some fresh air. Hopefully the play will help clear those lungs, and we can kick all this sickness!

The snow is awfully deep here! Hannah love love loved it

My dad accidently took all the snow equipment to work with him. We had to make due. Hannah used a life preserver :)

A little steep!!!

Crash! Loving the tongue

Today Allen had to go off on business. Thankfully he didn't leave until after 3. It was so nice to have more time with him! He is such a good daddy. We will miss you Allen. Can't wait to see you on Saturday!

Saturday in WI

My mom and I at the play. On Saturday we (My mom, my girls and I, Dana and her three, Carrie and Paula) went to a free play at Waukesha South. It was cute. The kids seemed to really enjoy it.

The kids on stage after the play

Taking pictures with the actresses. They thought that was so cool :)

Paula gearing up for South's hill

The hardest part always is having to get back up the hill!!!!

The whole crew came to sled...well, except Allen (he doesn't really get into that) and Joseph (he was sleeping). It was a lot of fun. We went down South's hill.

We had Chris' kids overnight. We decided to have an international night. We had spaghetti, french bread and brie cheese and sushi (eel)! They all tried it. I was so proud of them.

The biggest hit of International Night was the chopsticks :)

They just love each other!

My Diva Glasses

Alright...here is a picture of my Diva glasses from the side. I love the bling :) Please don't look at my messy floor behind me. We decided to leave it and go to bed. Then I remembered Beth wanted to see the side. Also, I wonder if I may be related to Jay Leno judging from this angle!

Uncle Sam Gave Some Back

Every year that we have a tax return everyone gets a splurge or treat with some of the money. This year we decided to buy a train table and some tracks for the three kids. They already have a bunch of the metal trains, so now they will actually have a place to go with them instead of on my coffee table or under my feet :) They are loving it!!!

Allen got a remote extender/signal sender so he can get satellite upstairs in our room. Hopefully we will be able to go to bed earlier.

I got a under the cabinet radio/weather radio/cd player. That way I can practice my music while I cook and not try to compete with the kids watching a video or cartoons!

This Week

This week and last we have really been battling sickness. They all three had strep throat last week. They don't seem to be that much better as I looked in their throats today and they were still swollen and red. Joseph, in fact, even had a temp of 104 last night! Yikes, poor guy. Thankfully, it is gone today!

They just love each other. Actually all my kids have really different relationships with each other. Hannah and Joseph are big buddy little buddy. He thinks of her as so big. He always is calling out Hannah, Hannah. He loves to know where she is at all times.

My little man. He just loves contruction equipment. Wonder where he gets that, huh?

I haven't put any pictures of me on here lately. We haven't really gotten back on the bandwagon of sorts...but we are being a lot better than we were! Hannah took this picture for me :)

Emily took this one. I was just barely in the shot :) I had to bend down or it would have been all my chest...too funny! Also, you can see my new glasses I got. They even have rhinestones (sp?) on the sides. Diva glasses :)

No, this was not taken in WI. We actually got a measurable snowfall here last night. I am not sure what the grand total is for Red Bud. I think maybe 4-5 inches. We had a super time (well, that is after trying to get everyone dressed for outside which took about 40 minutes...ahhhhh). We went out and shoveled the front. The kids brought their shovels. Of course I could only find one red shovel, one blue shovel and one rake. Well, if you know my kids really well you know that Emily claimed the blue one. She is passionate about blue. Well, then Hannah wanted the red one because it was bigger and because any smart 4 year old knows we don't use a rake for snow. So the fighing ensued. Oh well. We got lots of fresh air and the front sidewalk is cleared :)

They really loved being out in the snow. Well, I guess Joseph didn't really dig it as he couldn't walk very well in it. Then once he fell, he couldn't get up. So, we walked to the post office and city hall to pay our bills. I had to carry him on my shoulders. That was ok because it kept him safer as he is quite the little runaway lately, plus it gave me a better workout :) So many of the sidewalks even of the businesses weren't even cleared. Maybe they gave away their shovels as we haven't had snow in ages

Maybe he didn't like it because he hat kept falling over his eyes :) His favorite part by far was throwing the snow and eating it! I was shoveling my pregnant neighborns walk and he just plopped himself in the middle of a pile and had a feast...thankfully none of it was yellow!
