Saturday with the Schuylers

Saturday we loaded up the kids and headed to the STL Science Center. We love this place!

This table is one of the favorites. They let the kids touch real dinosaur bones and things. The piece that Hannah and Sierra are touching is actually dino pooh! Hilarious

After the Science Center we headed out to a picnic in the park. The park has some barns and things with animals. Poor Joseph.....he had just been hen pecked right before this picture. I am sure I heard Allen tell him "don't worry son...you will get used to it eventually....at least I did" :pEmily, Hannah and Sierra

Saturday n ight we had an Easter egg hunt in the front yard. They did such a good job of finding them and of sharing. Here they are counting them.
What a super weekend with friends. We had lots of time to chat and for the kids to play. We even had time to watch some Brewer baseball! Please come again, Schuylers, and soon!!!!

Friday with the Schuylers

We got to have my bestest friend Jenny and her family come and see us this weekend. We had such a wonderful time!

The kids just loved playing with Sierra. In fact, most of the fights was over who got to sit next to Sierra :)

Karen came over and we colored 82 eggs! The kids had a super time. We actually enjoyed it to :)

Friday morning Jenny, Karen and I had Girl Time!!! We went and got our Good Friday manicure/pedicure. It was such a great time. Lots of laughing and relaxing!

Don't Jenny nails look fantastic?!

Our beautiful toes...ok, so they really aren't beautiful....but they look much better with polish!

Easter Sunday

Here are my kiddos on Palm Sunday! Emily cracked me up. She said she needed to borrow my scarf to wear with her outfit :) She is such a little fashion diva. Is she 3 or 13???

We had a great, but frantic-paced Easter. We had to say good-bye to Jenny, Steven and Sierra. Then we had a pizza party in Sunday school, I ran to sing in the service, ran to the nursery to help Allen, forgot to watch for the offertory...had to be summoned for our special.....they were already praying as I left the nursery so I had to run....not pretty! Oh well. Went home and ate left overs....and then.....and then.....got to take a wonderful nap. In fact, I do believe I passed out!

I wish I would have had a moment to be able to meditate on the joy of the day for a risen Savior. I am grateful that we started celebrating last Sunday. We have been talking and praising God for Easter all week. I am so thrilled at how much my kids are learning and retaining!

A lady's man! This one is turning out to be quite a little charmer. His sisters even fight over him :)

We got to have Easter dinner with Karen (after my glorious nap). Allen made a fantastic ham. Karen and I made cheesy hashbrowns. It was wonderful. We relaxed, ate, and watched movies.

Group Date Night

Last night a group of us from church had a group date to see Phillips, Craig and Dean and Tammy's church. It was SO amazing. We had a lot of fun, but it was so spiritually refreshing. So many scriptural truths sung to my heart!
In pic: Allen, Pastor David, Natalie, Karen, Lisa, Jill and me

I love these girls. My favorite Divas in all the world! Karen and Tammy. It was so fun worshipping with them at the concert!

The concert was so great! These guys sound JUST like their CDs!!!

Woo hoooo....we even got to meet the guys. Jill was so pumped to meet these fellas....oh ok, I was really excited too :) They are so sweet.

Yay! Look at her cool autographs. She was so pumped. She had to call her grandma and her aunt to tell them about her night when we were at the restaurant.
Nothing beats good friends and fellowship. We went to Denney's after the concert. Wow, I don't know when I have laughed that much. I am so blessed with amazing people in my life!

Oh and here is our first album cover :) TEE HEE!!!!

My kids!

We love rainy days. It is so fun to be decked out in our cool rain coats and boots. I love this picture. It isn't posed as much as it is....just my kids!

AWWW...they were so cute. Today was our church Easter Egg Hunt! They had a really good time

Girl Night

Friday Allen got up before dawn so that he could come home early. He come home early so Karen and I could have a Girls' Night Out!!! What a sweetheart. I am so grateful for you, Allen. What a sacrifice for us. I am not sure I would get up before dawn for anyone to do anything fun!

We started off by going to get a massage!!!! It was so nice. The pampering was tremendous and the quiet was so unusual ;)

We also got to have an awesome dinner. We went to PF Changs. I had never been there before. Here Karen is having her egg drop soup while our lettuce wraps (yuuuummmmy!) was waiting.

We ended the night at Starbucks! I know...what a super day. I hated for it to end, but we are getting way too old to stay out past 10 :) We got to relax, get a few errands done, have a wonderful dinner, and get to just sit and talk.

Thanks Allen and thank you Karen for such a stupendous night!

Early Easter and Bday Dinner

Papa and MawMaw are off in NC visiting Julianna and Lily (well, and Michelle and Alan too). We had an early Easter time as well as birthday cake for Papa as they will be in NC for those.

MawMaw made the cutest Easter gifts. She made Joseph a BBQ apron and mitts with cowboy material. Then she made the girls baby carriers. They are so adorable!

Papa's birthday isn't until April 10th, but we wanted to make him a cake and get to sing to him ;)

We hope they have a wonderful trip, although they will be greatly missed. Joseph was just asking this morning if Papa and MawMaw could pick him up today and take him to "Jewanna's" house.

Family Time

Saturday we took some much needed time out to have some family time. We took the kids to Sousson Park in St Louis.

It was great to let them out to play for a while. It seems like it has been way tooo long since we have been able to turn them loose.

They have become so good with pictures. They are kinda getting that it goes a lot faster if you cooperate with mom.

Feeding the fowl. I was a bit nervous given our propensity for tripping and things that one was going to end up in the pond. Thankfully, no one did

Ha ha ha, I just LOVE Joseph's wind up in this picture

Hannah said she WAS smiling in this pic. Oh well

We got to have another weekend with people we love. This weekend we got to have down Chris, Dana and the kids (my brother and his fam). We had such a great time. It just goes way too fast!

The kids had so much fun! They played and played. Here they are with the afro wig. Too funny

Having fun snuggling Auntie Dana!

Me and my brother

Emily really liked the pie, can you tell?

Saturday night we had a party. We had the Boyd's over and Papa and MawMaw stopped by. Here are all the kids. They loved playing all day long. It was so great letting them play outside.

Wowzers...can you feel the excitement? This is during game time!

The kids really got into the games :)

After all was said and done and the kids had their baths Joseph crawled up into Dakota's lap. They are buddies!

It wasn't long before he was out cold! So sweet. I am so grateful these kids all love each other so very much
