A GREAT Deal!

* Diaper Deal:* There is going to be an awesome deal coming up at Walgreens for the week of June 29th that will get you free Walgreens brand diapers. On June 29 the new sales ad will start. Walgreens brand Jumbo packages of diapers (both the white and red packages) will be on sale for $5.99 each.In the July Easysaver booklet (which is a coupon & rebate booklet available at Walgreens stores) there will be a coupon in there for $5 off 2 packages of Walgreens diapers. This coupon will automatically adjust itself and give you 2.50 each package you buy. This booklet will be available in stores starting June 27th.You also need to go to the pharmacy and ask for a $50 Walgreens savings booklet. These booklets are free to anyone who asks about the new prescription savings plan. You don't have to buy the savings plan just ask about it and get the booklet. Many employees don't know where the booklets are so insist that someone who does know get one for you. They are a white and red booklet that is folded over 3 times and contains various Walgreens coupons for their store brand items. One of the coupons inside that book is for $2 off one package of Walgreens brand diapers. This coupon automatically scans for $2 off each package you buy. Both of the above coupons are Walgreens store coupons. You can combine them for the same purchase. All you have to do is present them to the cashier and they both scan fine. Also since both are store coupons the cashier will not need them for their drawer like a regular coupon. She scans them and you can keep them for future purchases. So hang on to them both! Even though they may say limit one they scan and give you the adjusted amount off for each package you buy.During the entire month from June 27th until July 28th Walgreens has another deal where you buy any 3 listed products (this deal is advertised in the Easysaver coupon & rebate booklet) you will get a $5 Register Reward Coupon for anything on your next purchase. Walgreens Jumbo diapers are one of the qualifying products. So this is how to maximize the deal and get FREE Diapers! Remember for the week of June 29th!Buy three packages of Walgreens brand Jumbo diapers (white or red package) for $5.99 each on sale. Your total will be $17.97Give the cashier your Easysaver coupon in the Easysaver booklet for $5 off when you buy two packages. Remember this will give you 2.50 off each package for a total off of $7.50 Your total now will be $10.47Now give the cashier your $2 coupon that is inside the Pharmacy red & white coupon booklet. This will give you $6 off total. Now your total will be $4.47You need to pay the $4.47. After you pay you will recieve a coupon from the coupon machine next to the register for $5 off your next purchase of almost anything. This makes the diapers FREE in essense. This deal is unlimited! But there are a few tricks to get the most out of it. Do not buy more than 3 packages in one transaction. If you buy 6 packages you will not recieve two $5 Register coupons. So only buy 3 at a time.Remember to keep your two coupons for each additional purchase you make. The cashiers do not need to keep them since they are store coupons and the register automatically keeps track of how many are used. When you get your $5 Register coupon DO NOT use it to help pay for your second transaction of more diapers. This will void out you getting another $5 coupon. The only way to get a $5 register coupon for each transaction is to pay with cash, debit, credit or giftcard. Just save all your register coupons. The pharmacy coupon booklets are available now. So if you want to get that early go ahead. The July Easysaver booklet that has the $5 diaper coupon will not be available until June 27th. The sale price does not start until June 29th. So get yourself together and ready to do this deal for the week of June 29th.This deal is good nationwide, if you have friends or family in another state tell them about it. Anybody can do this since the Walgreens coupons and sales are the same nationwide. If you can't do this deal the week of the 29th you still have until July 28th to do it. But you will pay a little more. Once the diapers go off sale they will be regular price of 7.99 each. 3 packs at 7.99 each = 23.97. Minus the $5 coupon for $7.50 off - the $2 coupon for $6 off = 10.47. You'll need to pay the 10.47 You will then get the $5 register coupon to bring your final cost down to 5.47 for 3 packages. If you end up with a lot of Register Reward coupons and are not sure what to buy at Walgreens with them, use them at Albertsons. Utah Albertsons have a policy of accepting competitor grocery & drug store coupons. This includes the Walgreens register rewards. Just give them to the cashier, they scan fine and deduct normally. There is no special stuff needed. I have used several in one transaction before and gotten a week's worth of groceries.

Allison visit: Wednesday

Today Tammy and I took the kids to Suson Park in South County. It was a lot of fun. It was really warm though. I am still not used to the summer heat and humidity.

Tammy playing on the playground equipement! What a sport.

Feeding the ducks. We were later badgered by the aggressive geese. One was hissing and stealing bread out of the kids' hands. I hate birds!

We packed a lunch for the kids to enjoy in the park. It worked out so well. Thankfully the geese left us eat in peace!

The kids were making a wish at the wishing well. It was so cute. We heard Hannah say, "I wish I was a princess". Caleb then said, "I wish I was a cowboy". They are so precious!

My bongo player

He is a little dare devil. I was so impressed that he had the strength to climb that rock wall all by himself. I turned around and he was up that high!

The park had a little farm in it. We got to see a bunch of animals. Then we got to see a cow milking demonstration. Very cool

After the demonstration the farmer let the kids pet the cow on her nose. Joseph wasn't too sure about her :) I think it was probably mutual!

Ha ha ha! This makes me laugh. We saw this duck in the little lake. Hannah said, "Hey that duck looks like MawMaw"! I died laughing :)

The whole crew. Audrey, Ally, Kenny, Emily, Hannah, Caleb, Joseph and Heather

It was neat they had all kinds of stale with animals for the kids to look at. It was a super day! I am just so very tired!

500th Post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very fitting that my 500th post is a doozy. Joseph was supposed to be taking a nap. Well, I heard him moving around but wanted to get my computer work done. So, finally I went in there....this is what I found!

Even Thomas feel victim to this poo catastrophe

It was everywhere. I even "discovered" it in more places than the eye could see when I was trying to clean it all up. So much for having a break while they napped!

Hannah funny of the week: She put her foot in Allen's face and said, "Look at this!" He was confused and said "What am I looking at?" She said, "My feet. I have father feet." He was confused. Well, the polish had come off her toe nails so she was upset that her feet might look like a man's :)

Allison visit: Tuesday

Today Heather and Kenny came over. We first went to the library for our classes. Yikes, that was a long two hours trying to keep Joseph occupied and quiet. That adj has never been accurate for any of my kids, namely Joseph!!!

After lunch the kids got to play in the pool. It was so cute, Heather and Allison were baptizing eachother. They were even doing the salvation verification part! :)

After dinner Heather had a softball game. We had a great time cheering her on. Heather and Allison have grown close. I am so happy for both of them that they are getting along so well...well, I am happy for myself as well. Two preteen girls together could go either way!

After the game we came home. After getting in jammies we had a VBS dance party ;) They loved teaching Allison the songs. Allison even asked for me to burn the songs onto her MP3 player. I love my kids singing about the Lord!

Slumber party!!!!!! We had ice cream, a dance party, popcorn, soda and a movie. I think that is a super end to the party. Can you tell they are getting tired???

Allison visit: Monday

Tada! The big pool. It wasn't as icky as it was last night, so I gave in to the pleadings to swim in it. I gave them a shower immediately afterwards though :)

Who wouldn't want their kids posed buy a king cobra and her eggs?!

Our big treat was all getting Dippin' Dots today. This was Allison's first time having them. They were a hit. It was supposed to only be 82 today but it ended up being 88!!!

ALL boy!

Last year we got to feed the giraffe some grass. We tried to coax them over but to no avail!

"Donkey" said like Shrek of course!

We got to say All Aboard again today as guest conductors on the railroad :)

We thought this was funny. It looks like this caiman or whatever it is can stand on his tail.

It was a good day to the zoo for the most part. It started off a little rough. In fact, mine were acting so bad that I had to threaten to leave. I was tired so I wouldn't have minded leaving early except that I would have felt bad for Allison! In the end, it was a good day.

Allison visit: Sunday

Saturday night I layed out the girls' outfits so that as soon as they got up they could get dressed for church. I normally also pick out the shoes and put them on top. Well, I didn't. It was driving my OC Emily nuts. She had to get out of her bed a bunch of times. I didn't know why until I was ready to go to bed myself. She had picked out everyone's shoes. She picked out ruby ones for her to wear with her green and pink dress! Allison was supposed to weat tennis shoes with her dress...eeek. And Hannah had patent leather shoes to go with her sundress ;) I wonder if reading Fancy Nancy right before bed had anything to do with it :) Or it could just be that she is my daughter!!!

Poor kids. They have been waiting to swim in the big pool since Friday. It has rained and things so they couldn't. After nap today they were supposed to get in. Well....we have an algae issue. So we put chemicals in, but then they still couldn't go in. I felt so sorry for them. They were disappointed. Thankfully, no one had a fit! I was so proud of them. So back to the baby pool they went. Here is the swimsuit we found for Allison at Costco, Dana. It was only $12 and it is a Speedo....notice not a speedo but a Speedo brand ;)

Tonight MawMaw and Papa came over for a cookout. We are having a stupendous time!!

Allison visit: Saturday

Saturday was the birthday party at the park for Caleb and Audrey Ham....my kids' cousins on Allen's side. It was a super time with yummy food.

This is my Caleb. He is my other little man. He is such a cutie pie!

All the kids at the party. It was quite a rowdy group but they sure love playing with each other!

Hannah and her cousins Lauren and Breanna

Saturday night we had a BBQ with the Boyd's (-pastor david as he is on a missions trip with the youth) & Auntie Karen. It rained again! So, the kids had a good time playing in the basement. Here they are mid dressup session watching Veggie Tales. Heather is also 9 and going into 4th grade, so it was nice for Allison to have someone her age.

Allison visit: Friday

This is why I love Allison to come down for a visit :) She helps me lots. My niece, Allison, is down this week from WI. We have loved her visit already. She is always so sweet and helpful (no I am not kidding Chris and Dana :P)!

One of our first activities was to go to the library. We have gotten tons of books and have read a bunch of them already. Ally is keeping good track of her minutes read to earn a prize for Tueday when we go back. She has even been reading to my kids and they love it!!!!

After Allen came home we took the kids to South County StL to the Incredible Pizza place. Lots of fun, lots of food, and lots of volume :) We didn't stay too long as we had to go shopping at Costco but we all enjoyed it

After we got home we made brownies for Caleb and Audrey's birthday party on Saturday. I had three wonderful and beautiful helpers! BTW they turned out awesome.

Licking a beater. I am a stickler for not eating cake batter because of the eggs. This was just cream cheese and whip cream.

Parade

Tonight was a Waterloo parade. Our church decided to have a float; therefore, we walked in the parade. Here are my kiddos in their vbs/parade gear!

Getting ready to head out. Funny thing..... 2/3 of my kids peed their pants during/after the parade....that was even after I had to take them in the Gibault bushes while we were waiting 45 minutes for our turn to head off into the parade route!!! ARRRRGGHHHHH

Our pastors and their lovely wives: Lisa and David Boyd & Steven and Sharon Neill. Ha, can you tell which one is the youth pastor?!

Hangin' Loose before the parade begins

During the parade. The girls loved running and handing out the freeze pops. Joseph loved being pulled while eating freeze pops :)

We really missed you Allen. He is gone on business all this week :*(
