Possible Solution

Well, we have been very disgusted with the state of homes in our area and in our price range. Everything has either leaks, shag carpet and wallpaper galore or was just taken. We went past a future subdivision in Red Bud. They are offereing houses in our price range! We were shocked. This is the model we like and can afford. It has 1500 sqft, a two car garage, roughed in plumbing in the basement for future.

Pray for us, we are having our first showing on Thursday at noon! What do you guys think?

Update

Well, God has said NO to that house. Someone put a written contract down on it before us, and the owner doesn't even want us to put a backup contract in. Oh well! I was disappointed, but very glad God was directing.

Thank you for all the comments and prayers. We will hopefully be looking at another one today. I will keep you posted!

Easter

I had to include my favorite picture of my three on Easter. I got the three outfits on ebay. Joseph's was from his dedication a year ago. The girls shoes I got at the Payless 75% off clearance sale last year :)

Calling All Prayer Warriors

Well, we are looking at houses. It has been a rather bleak journey thus far. I can't believe how much people are asking for ugly houses...not to mention the property taxes! Today we got to see the one that started our endeavor (Allen mentioned that he had seen it for sale by owner last week).

It is WAY more than we need but it is just a little bit more than we want to spend. It is really nice. It has 4 bedrooms, 4 baths plus a bonus room. It has two dining areas, a living room and a family room (both of which have gas fireplaces). It has 2600 square feet I think she said. It also has 1/2-3/4 acres of property, plus a two car garage and a one car shed.

Please pray with and for us. We would like to put an offer down but contingent on us selling our house. There is a contract on the house already.....kind of. The people have not put down any earnest money or gotten financing. So, I am not sure how that goes. We need direction from the Lord. I know my heart really really wants this, but I want to be in the Lord's perfect will more than any house!

Easter Sunday

We had Easter here in IL. We went to church and then off to MawMaw and Papa's house for lunch. Joseph was so hungry that he began helping himself. Allen came to take him away for the good dishes :) Oh he is so cute.

Daddy and his big girl Hannah

The kids got a foosball table from MawMaw and Papa as part of their Easter gift. They just love it. Joseph has a bruise under his eye to prove it !

Gamma, Gampa, Sami, Aunt Sandy and Sis Hermann also got to come over for dinner. It was a very nice time with some very yummy food!

The Big Egg Hunt!!!!

Aren't they the cutest? After the egg hunt. They were yelling Happy Easter!

Saturday Egg Hunt

My precious baby girls with their babies!

Here we are at the egg hunt preliminary activities. As you can see, Hannah didn't appreciate not going straight outside for the egg hunt. She cheered up though. Emily is always so easy going. What a blessing!

Joseph isn't too thrilled with the idea of coloring so Papa helped him out

Hannah gathering eggs

MawMaw and Emily found a whole basket full!

Joseph had a blast running around and getting eggs. I think Papa had a good time too :)

Yahoo....they are all looking...well, almost!

Last Couple of Days

On Saturday we had a baby shower for Allen's sister, Michelle and Baby Lily.

Tammy, Audrey and Karen at the baby shower!

Julianna the sister of honor!

Emily at her very first denist appointment! She was so good. The ladies were so surprised at how well she did! The dental hygenist said she was better than a 10 year old.

Hannah setting the good example of Emily! What a good girl :)
