Well, we have been very disgusted with the state of homes in our area and in our price range. Everything has either leaks, shag carpet and wallpaper galore or was just taken. We went past a future subdivision in Red Bud. They are offereing houses in our price range! We were shocked. This is the model we like and can afford. It has 1500 sqft, a two car garage, roughed in plumbing in the basement for future.

how nice it would be to have a new house - so you will have a basement that can be finished off? or can you have it finished off before you buy it? will you have it built? so you can pick all the things you want in it?

I love it! I already told you that I love the floor plan. The house is really cute. The basement space will be great...even if you don't have it finished now. The kids could even ride their bikes down there on cold days.
Yes, we would be one of the first in the subdivision. We would get to pick colors and things and could have things customized, but that would add up $$$ fast.
We will not have the basement finished off as they charge $110/112 a sqft on the house. So, that would be a lot more moolah.
I already thought that about the kids playing in the basement with their bikes, That would be soo nice :)

We currently only have 1100 square feet not including the basement
does that 1500 sq ft include the basement?
