My mom undoing the old caulk in the bathroom. She also did running with me and watched the kids. We didn't get much time to talk this time because of all the work they were all doing. Maybe that is why God allowed the counter to be chipped so we had to drive all the way to South County St Louis to get it replaced! So, we did have that time to talk :)
My dad working on the finishing touches to our brand new beautiful sink. I just love it! It looks so good.
Poor Jane! She once again got stuck in the dungeon doing our laundry. She is such a terrific Cinderella! Look at all that laundry :) She also watched the kids while my mom, Hannah and I went to south county. Plus she took them for a walk. My kids are so blessed with the most stupendous grandparents!!!
Dad thinking, "Why do you have so much junk in here." Actually, that is what he said to me. I cleaned it out after that :)
TADA!!!!! It even has the faucet that you grab and it actually is your sprayer as well. Cool! The even cooler part is that I found it at Home Depot on clearance for $25!
Praise the Lord for such a wonderful day! Not only did we get tons done, but it was so nice and finally dry that the kids were able to play outside all afternoon! What a HUGE blessing!
Clarence and Allen worked so hard trying to get our crazy counters figured out. It didn't help that the old countertops were rigged up there. Then that the old plaster walls weren't straight! Made for a lot of customization that these poor guys weren't planning on! But they got it and they look AMAZING. I told Allen that I may want to stay now that all of our project we've wanted to do for four years are finally getting done :)

The kids were so exhausted after all the excitement and fresh air. Hannah passed out on the couch snuggling with my mom and her dog Lucy. Emily was on the other side of my mom passed out on my dad. Too cute. I am grateful that the kids got to have some family time as well.

This is why we can't get projects done with just the two of us. They are so curious, that they have to be underfoot and in your way the whole time. They are so cute though. Emily even has to be touching her dad the whole time he is sanding the countertop trim this afternoon!

I am so glad you all have such wonderful family to help you! The new sink looks great! I'm amazed that you got so much done over the weekend!
glad you were able to get so much done this weekend.
i hope you sell the house fast and find the perfect one :)
Wow! What a whirlwind weekend for sure! How awesome to have so much help and get so much done!
Wow I can't believe how busy you were! How nice to have all that help. That really is a blessing and the fact that you were willing to be helped. Sometimes we struggle with that. (-: Cause then that leaves open door for much advice and suggestions. oops I am revealing my inner most secrets. (-:
That is so sweet that they are standing around their dad. Joseph looks all "spiffied" up, so cute.
I was just thinking about all the stuff to be done to our house to sell it, & I had the same thought -- "why on earth are we doing all this NOW -- we're going to want to stay in it!"
Wonder why we do it this way -- guess we're all just too busy living life to worry about making it look nice for someone else to want it. Ah well! :o)
