Indian Summer

My Aunt Annie and cousins Paula and Carrie came over on Saturday for a late lunch of Jimmy's Grotto. Danna, Liesl and Jen...do you guys remember having that? It is soooo good. That is probably where that pound came from :) It was so nice to let the kids play outside. We got Carrie and Paula in the action too!

The girls getting our cousin Paula! They loved playing with Carrie and Paula. We all had leaves everywhere! It was such a beautiful day.

How is your Aunt Annie doing?

She seems to be doing amazingly well....thanks to the prayers. I am hoping it is because she is feeling all right and not that she is bearing it all herself. Thank you so much for asking and thank you all for the prayers! We would now like to ask for another specific prayer. Let her have one more Christmas.

I'm glad to hear she is doing so well. It would be so neat if she could spend one more Christmas on earth! If she isn't able, just think about how neat this would be for her...

"And now she's home for Christmas and now she's home to stay;
She's home for Christmas, and nothin' could've kept her away.
She'll be face to face with Jesus, as we celebrate His birth,
And this gift will be worth more to her than anything on earth.
She's home, she's home for Christmas.
She is home, she's home for Christmas."

This is from a song written by Steven Curtis Chapman...about his grandma.
