Yesterday I made it to the Christian bookstore and got a Bible study on Philippians titled "Experiencing the Joy of Knowing Christ". The intro was good enough for me this morning. It has help me solidify my spiritual goal, and it is this....
Phil 3:9..."not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ..the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ..."
I am tired of having a form of godliness by what we do on the outside and yet not have a growing heart relationship on the inside. I am tired of manmade rules that supposedly measure righteousness! I need the rightousness from God through faith by knowing Christ.

I agree with you 100%. You are a good christian in my book, but I am not the one who has to stand before God in the end you are. So you be the judge of that. I am with you in this endevor and I will do anything I can to help you. Love you lots.

SOunds like a good book. I've been thinking about faith, too, and am going to start a study of heb. 11. The Word is such good food!
Is there a specific book that you are going to use....or just on your own, Liesl.
Now see I am just at that point where I am doing it out of obedience still and not because I have a passion for it. Perhaps I will get there soon.
