She crawled into Joseph's swing by herself and ended up falling asleep in there!
Friday Emily had her appointment with the urologist. He said she has level 3 kidney reflux. Her ureters backwash back into her kidney given her UTIs and making her really sick. Level 3 could go either way. Some just grow out of it, but some need surgery. Pray that she will just grow out of it. We have to keep her on a low dose of antibiotics for a year and then she will get reevaluated. She was such a good girl in the office! I was so proud of her. She and I got to share a personal pan pizza while watching the fish in Children's Hospital :) She has really been slimming down. She was only 23.5 pounds. I am surprised that Hannah has 6 pounds on her.

Yikes, Monica! Well, if you're anything like me, you wanna research the crap outta this thing, & I found a great link that's extra informative on it. It even explains the available antibiotics & each one's side effects & how they work. That way you can make a more informed decision with your doctor too. Are you a proponent (or is your doc?) of having her on probiotics at the same time since antis strips the intestinal tract of good bacteria & good cause all kinds of things like yeast infections, excema, etc? Email me if you wanna, & I'll shut up about the rest unless you ask. Here's the link that I found so helpful: http://www.emedicine.com/med/topic2838.htm
could* not good -- hahaha
Also, I'll be praying for little Emily, that God will correct her ureters!
Yowza! What made you go in? Good thing you did, but wow. How are you doing? I feel so bad for her. She is a trooper.

Thank you Danna for the web site. I totally stink at surfing, so I really appreciate it :P
Sandy...you are so sweet. The Lord has given you the gift of encouragement. Thank you so much for lifting me up.
Poor little baby! You said she will be on antibiotics for a year and then they will reevaluate her? Are they going to check her throughout the year to see how she’s doing? We will definitely be praying for God’s will to be done here! Give her a kiss from her auntie! We love you!
Thank you :) Smmmmmooooch, I sure did!
Yes, the way to tell if she isnt' doing well is realy obvious. She will get a crazy high temperature and feel terrible without any flu symptoms. That is how we discovered it to begin with.
Thank you all so much for your prayers.
