I really love Chicago. I think other than Paris, NYC and Boston it is my favorite city. My mom loves it too. Allen asked, "What is wrong with you and your mom that you like THIS"! He along with my dad (who did not come) and Chris do not appreciate the hustle bustle and lunatic traffic of cities.
We spent most of Saturday at the Museum of Science and Industry. This picture cracks me up. We sat a posed right in the doorway while people were trying to get in....then it turns out like this because I had it on the wrong setting. Just sooooo typical!

This was such a cool exhibit. You got to be a CSI! Chris, Dana and Dakota went while we watched the other kids, and Mom and I got to go while they wrangled the brood. Fun times, good memories!

After the museum I had to run out to the suburbs to pick up Allen from the conference. Then we got to spend the evening on Navy Pier. None of us had been there before. Getting there was half the adventure. After almost getting hit 10 time and having to pay $19 a car to park a mile away we finally got there :)

I laughed so hard when I saw this picture. It almost looks like one of those cheesy backgrounds at Walmart picture studios. That bird had perfect timing!!!
I just LOVE the view of the city!
Hitching a ride on Uncle Chris!

Our whole crazy group. It was so beautiful and cool at the end of the pier. The breeze was so welcome as it was in the 90s.
Allen took this beautiful one.
We ended the night at McDonalds in the suburbs as we didn't want to pay $10 for a McDonalds meal ;0) What outing would be complete without some nuggets??
I love my family so very much, and I am so grateful for the super trip and the awesome memories, not to mention the priceless pictures! This Saturday and the Saturday before at the lake are two of my favorite days to date.
