Frustration

Ok, I had my weigh in tonight and I have actually gained a pound. I am so disappointed!!! Well, that is an understatement. I am completely and utterly ticked. I had 28 of my flex points left and went for a 3.5 hr bike ride on Saturday and a 2.6 mile walk on Sunday. So unfair!!! Perhaps it has something to do with it being my TOM.

friend-
i guarantee that is a huge part of it - we retain so much water - i feel bloated and nasty and i am sure i weigh more - great job on the eating and the bike ride - i am so proud of you -
i love you -

Don’t get frustrated about this. Maybe next week you will lose more…once all the extra water is gone! And just a little tip…I heard that it doesn’t really help a whole lot to not use all of your points. I’m not sure if it is true or not, but supposedly your body needs the amount of points that Weight Watchers gives you based on your weight. Like is said, I don’t know if this is true or not, but if you need to eat all the points then I say “eat um”! We’re praying for you! Don’t get discouraged!

Thank you guys so much for all the encouragement guys! I can't tell you how much it means to me :) Yeah, I have been wondering about using up those flex points. I have felt frustrated that they are only temptation points and that I can't use them in order to lose any weight.

Monica, after all that activity, it sounds like your body was turning some tissue into muscle, which weighs more than fat. That's most likely why the scale tipped up, so DO NOT be discouraged. I hope knowing that helps a little. Muscle fights fat, & the results of your exercise will be faster weight loss in the future!
