VBS

Wowzers! Last week was crazy. I was asked to help with the music for VBS. I had never even been to our VBS in the past bc my kids were too young. So, I didn't know what I was in for. I did the morning session. I had to teach the kids a new song every day including the actions. Oh my! I am way to old and fluffy for all that. First I had to sit and learn them all myself. Yikes, it took me forever. I really did enjoy it, but I didn't realize the aerobic exercise I would be getting. I did those songs and actions for 1.5 hrs straight a day :) I have pulled muscles from teaching music...pathetic!

Here is Kenny and Hannah

Here is the music team practicing our songs before the kids arrived. Pastor David, Me, Sam, and Alyssa

One of my classes learning one of many songs last week

Joseph and Emily in their 2s and 3s class. They did a super job. Joseph started off a little rough screaming most of Monday. Then he got into the spirit of things. Thank the Lord!!!! I don't know what I would have done!

Go girl....Hannah during music...the only one doing the right actions :)

My kids' first program ever!!!! Hannah is front and center singing her song. No, I did not place her there :)

Joseph doing the rocking the baby action

Emily trying to grab Tanner's hand for their song. They all did super

Horray! I am so glad you got it. By the way...I left the tags on on purpose so you can return anything you don't like or need. I would not mind AT ALL!!!!

We love you much. We must schedule a trip out there!

I'm so glad Joseph was better after the first day...that would have made for a hard week for both of you.

ugh....you are NOT kidding. I was getting grouchy just thinking about it. Then he had to have music with me and then leave....I dreaded it. Thankfully, he had good teachers and a 6th grade boy helper....so they kept him occupied. Hopefully this will help at church too. He has been having fits in his classes since May when Emily moved out of his class. He misses her :*(
