Hannah Journal

I just had to give some updates on Hannah. She kills me. She is maturing so fast. We have been trying to teach her about tithing. She doesn't understand why if God gave her the money that he would want some of it back right away. So....yesterday I had to pay the mailman for a box that had postage due. He gave the change to Hannah. Last night she was telling Allen that the mailman had given her money. She had 2 dimes and 2 pennies. She said, "I am going to give one of these to Jesus!" Too cool!!!!! I was so thrilled that she said that without us even mentioning it.

Then she loves her journal. She carries it around to right "stuff" in it :)

We were talking last week about going up to see my family. She said, "Uncle Chris......he is a nice man."

She can quote Eph 6:1, John 3:16, Genesis 1:1, and 2 Tim 1:7

She knows almost all her consonant sounds and is pretty good with the short vowel sounds. She can read about 10-15 words. Not sure if they have become sight words or if she is just really getting it. My mom instincts thinks she is getting it, but I am biased :)

She is such a good big sister. She is almost always quite nurturing with her siblings. She helps me with Joseph all the time.

She even has good grammar. She says, "May I please......" Love it!!!

I love you, Miss Hannah and can't wait to see how you continue to blossom into the little lady God has made you to be.

Ha...I think it is so funny that she has a journal! Very cute! Even if she has just memorized those words, she is very close to start reading.

Your Hannah sounds like my Kelli -- she is my right arm, & I do not know what I would do without her.

This is so sweet! Isn't it exiting watching them grow!?!

Yes, she loves her journal. She walks around with it writing various things. She is actually getting better at writing smaller just by writing in it :)

Yes, she must be my Kelli! No wonder first borns turn out like they do....they are tremendous helpers.

Cari..you aren't kidding. It amazes me and scares me at tht same time. I love when they learn what I am trying to teach but it is so sobering when they learn things that I didn't even know they can see...the bad stuff :(
